This week Valentine Day protests against privatisation of the NHS were organised by Keep Our NHS Public (KONP). 12 groups of KONP across the country took part. For example:
- In Birmingham there was a demonstration against the planned closure of the Blood Transfusion Centre.
- In Camden, the KONP group handed in a petition signed by 2,000 people to the PCT against privatisation of the NHS.
