We go to a nearby village called Tell. The army have photographed 4 houses there, which they usually do before they destroy them. We are going to sleep in these housThe first house we go to is threatened because one of the sons is imprisoned for armed struggle against settlers. The father and his wife live there, as well as two of his other sons' families. The son in prison had the destruction of two other neighbouring houses. On one of the piles of rubble, I pho tograph a small boy, who had lived in the house, and had two of his brothers killed, one in front of him.

We return to Balata to find that this morning the army have not replaced the roadblocks around the camp. Maybe we are getting to them. Tonight a tank is parked at the entrance and boys are throwing stones at it. After a while it leaves
