Socialist Resistance organised a very successful rally at the beginning of the ESF under the banner of Socialist Resistance/Rouge.
A packed audience at the Indian YMCA heard contributions from film maker Ken Loach, Donnie Nicholson from Scottish Socialist Youth, Jose Maria Antentas from Catalonia, Joao Machado from PSOL in Brazil and Michel Warsharski from the Alternative Information Centre in Jerusalem, Alain Krivine from the Ligue Comuniste Revolutionaire in France and Karen O'Toole from Socialist Resistance.
