CAPITALISM
K 58933162 A 11 America s eorge Bush's state visit to Britain is the biggest opportunity for the anti-war movement to protest against the murderous imperialist policies of Bush and Blair.
Already the growing opposition is having an impact. Bush is reported to be disappointed that he has been denied a procession through Whitehall to celebrate his supposed 'victory' in Iraq due to the threat of protests.
His is one of the most brutal, warmongering and richest regimes in history. Virtually every one of his closest advisors, including Rumsfeld, Cheney and Wolfowitz have close ties to multinationals, and oil companies in particular.
Bush's election campaign was funded by interests in the financial sector of US capitalism. In short; Bush means capitalism, and capitalism means war.
In Iraq, the priority of US and British troops has been to secure the oil fields ready to fill the pockets of oil company executives. But while this remains their priority, water, electricity and sewerage systems which were destroyed in the bombing are still not working properly.
Behind the US drive towards globalisation, of opening up markets in Latin America, Africa and Asia lies the increased threat of militarisation to of Britain, and Blair out of office. THE UNITED STATES FOR ALL CARTAUST CORRUPTION
ONE DOGWR make profit from people's poverty and misfortune. The US now spends more on its military budget than ever before, whilst the poorest in the world live on less than a dollar a day. The rulers of the US want to demonstrate to the rest of the world that they have "full spectrum dominance', the right to extract profit and power wherever they choose. We must deny them W ar and occupation are not
inevitable, and the US is not all powerful. Thirty years ago, the US army was driven out of Vietnam by a combination of national liberation struggle by the Vietnamese, and huge protests in the US and countries such as Britain.
The biggest and most powerful a peasant army with no other resources than their willingness to fight a superpower.
The anti-war movement in Britain will meet Bush with our own brand of resistance. The bigger the protests when he comes over, the more it weakens both him, and his lapdog Blair. A victory for the Iraqi resistance is a defeat for Bush. So let's drive Bush out
