(perhaps on pensions or the council tax from which we can form local teams of enthusiasts. But none of that can be conjured out of the air. It takes members, money and motivation.
We should also try, in a modest way, to develop international links with those many groups elsewhere involved in the same left unity project. Our fraternal relationship with the SSP in particular could be much improved - the SA would certainly benefit from a closer relationship.
Our movement is international. Our aims are historic. We fight for them here and we fight for them now. With solidarity and determination we can spark a fire that will light up a generation; not on our own, maintaining some supposed ideological purity, but in the muck where resistance grows.
