This was not a Socialist Resistance publication. marxsite was Phil Hearse’s own long-form site, run alongside the paper he helped edit. It is kept here with his agreement, recovered from the Internet Archive after the domain lapsed and was taken over by someone else; nothing here links to the address it now points at.

Only a fragment of this survives. It may have been a short link-and-comment post, which marxsite ran many of, or the opening of a longer piece cut off by the capture — from what remains there is no way to tell which.

Communist Refoundation's 'European Party' - Critical Remarks

For the upcoming European elections the Party of Communicst Refoundation (PRC) in Italy has sought to build a 'European left party ' - in fact an alliance, but benefitting from EU funding for Europe-wide parties. However it choice of partners - the existing or former 'Communist' parties, excluding other forces on the European anti-capitalist left - has led to some controversy.

For readers' information we are publishing here two critical texts, although these two documents do not express identical political viewpoints: 1) An article by a PRC National Bureau member Fausto Sorini 2) A letter from the French LCR asking pointed questions about the project, signed by Alain Krivine.
