Disaster Capitalism

first published in The Nation

This was not a Socialist Resistance publication. marxsite was Phil Hearse’s own long-form site, run alongside the paper he helped edit. It is kept here with his agreement, recovered from the Internet Archive after the domain lapsed and was taken over by someone else; nothing here links to the address it now points at.

As credited on the page: “This article, published in Apri in The Nation and on Naomi Klein's No Logo site, and syndicated elsewhere, seems highly relevant in the light of events in New Orleans.”

This article was first published by a commercial publisher. marxsite reprinted it in full; this archive does not.

Read it at the publisher or the archived copy of the marxsite page.
