This was not a Socialist Resistance publication. marxsite was Phil Hearse’s own long-form site, run alongside the paper he helped edit. It is kept here with his agreement, recovered from the Internet Archive after the domain lapsed and was taken over by someone else; nothing here links to the address it now points at.

Australian 30 August CLASHES broke out Tuesday in Santiago between police and tens of thousands of demonstrators demanding education reform. The rally was one of the largest in recent weeks, with between 50,000 and 130,000 protestors, according to police and protest organizers.While some danced to the rhythmof drums, thousands of others, masked and wearing hoods, followed the procession and attacked police with sticks and stones.
