Rainbow International Fundraiser

Join us for a very special night at Union Chapel, as some incredible musicians come together to raise money for Rainbow International – a solidarity fund for LGBTQ+ groups fighting persecution across the world. We are absolutely ecstatic about the line up. On the bill are Grace Petrie, Colour Me Wednesday, Daniel Versus the World and Nia, along with a special guest set from Chris Hicks.

Grace Petrie is quite simply the best radical acoustic artist around. Moving, amusing, sometimes raging, she’s a had great summer at Glastonbury and Latitude along with recent sellout show at St. Pancras Old Church, and is absolutely not a performer to be missed.

We are also thrilled that Colour Me Wednesday will be playing – an increasingly well known and well loved four piece DIY punk/indie pop band based in West London.Their long-awaited debut album ‘I thought it was morning’ was released on Discount Horse records in 2013 followed by a split record and US tour with Spoonboy (Washington, DC) in 2014. Lyrically, the band touch on politics, anxiety, sexism, growing up and relationships which is expressed using catchy hooks, harmonies and gang vocals

We will also be delighted – and worked up towards moments of well directed rage – by Daniel Versus the World, and his inimitable “queer pianarcho peace punk”. Honestly one of the best Songcrafters around. Video

And then there is Nia, a very rapidly emerging talent on the London acoustic scene, who’s fantasticly written Americana songs are backed by an expertly plucked steal resonator guitar.

We will also be lucky enough to get a mini special guest set from fantastic acoustic songwriter Chris Hicks.
