This meeting is about the transformation of politics happening in Spain and the rest of Europe now. It is the first public meeting in Manchester for Podemos. Activists from that movement have been meeting in Manchester supporting the movement in Spain which is growing rapidly, and is now second in the polls there. We will hear about Podemos and the politics of transformation across Europe, linking with the experiences of Left Unity, Syriza, and other radical initiatives. How do we transform politics, give power to citizens, and develop new forms of organisation? The meeting is organised with activists from Podemos Manchester and Left Unity Manchester, and will include contributions from new social movements, making space to learn from each other.
