The second round of the presidential elections in France are on Sunday. They are opening an era of instability. These elections confirm what is happening in other European countries following the global crisis: the collapse of a decades-old political system, with the emergence of new neoliberal forces, the far-right at alarming levels, and a spirit of resistance.
