Sign up now for this year's FI Youth Camp

The 23rd youth camp of the Fourth International will take place from Saturday 21 July to Friday 27 July in Barbaste, France.

Over 500 young people from all over Europe are expected to come together for a week of political discussion, exchange of experience, self-organisation and having a good time.

Socialist Resistance supporters are planning to send their biggest delegation yet to the camp with almost as many people committed by this stage as went in total last year.

The programme of discussions will be finalised at a meeting taking place in Paris over Easter but the suggested themes include:

Elections and revolution, Global injustice, European Union, Climate change, Africa: Subsaharan Africa, War: Iraq, Lebanon and Palestine, Far right - populism

Collective transport will be organised from London and individual comrades are expected to pay £50 if they are not working and £100 if they are working for a week of politics and fun.

It is likely to actually cost between £150-£200 for each place. If you are interested and want to find out more, write to PO Box 1109, London N4, 2UU, email Tracy at [email protected] m or ring her on 0790648074

In order to make sure that we can send the biggest possible delegation that means those of us not attending the camp, who are generally better paid than the young people we want to go.
